Following the signing of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) in April 2020, QUICK organized an in-house study meeting to discuss specific measures to promote sustainable management. In October 2021, QUICK endorsed the recommendations released by the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) in June 2017. In April 2022, the above study meeting was reorganized into the Sustainable Management Implementation Meeting to establish a system to monitor the implementation of various measures.

To further strengthen our sustainable management initiatives in line with the governance structure recommended by the TCFD, we have proactively reorganized the Sustainable Management Implementation Meeting into the Sustainability Committee. The new committee consists of full-time directors, etc., and outside experts. In addition to examining and formulating policies and action plans for promoting sustainable management, the committee monitors the progress of measures implemented by internal departments and implementation subcommittees, and reports the status to the Board of Directors and the Management Committee twice a year.
