Corruption impedes fair and sound economic activity. It not only distorts competition and hinders economic growth, but also has a negative impact on a sustainable society by threatening the livelihood of socially vulnerable people.

QUICK Corp. (hereinafter, “QUICK”) contributes to a more sustainable economy and society by promoting efforts to prevent corruption in all forms and by conducting business with fairness, impartiality and integrity. At the same time, QUICK continues to be a company trusted by business partners, customers, and the market.

1. Basic Approach

QUICK is a signatory to the “Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact.” We respect international norms, including the UN Global Compact, and promote our anti-corruption efforts by establishing the QUICK Anti-Corruption Policy (hereafter, the “Policy”).

2. Scope of Application

The Policy applies to all officers and employees of QUICK (hereinafter, “we” or “our”). We also require our business partners and suppliers to endorse and comply with the Policy, and work together with them to promote anti-corruption.

3. Prevention of Corruption and Bribery

We do not tolerate any forms of corruption or bribery. We prohibit bribery of government officials and public employees, whether in Japan or abroad. We comply with the laws of each country and do not deviate from the socially accepted norms in providing entertainment, gifts, and benefits to business partners, officers, and employees who do not fall under the category of public officials, etc. We do not request personal benefits from business partners, etc. by taking advantage of our duties or position.

4. Prevention of Insider Trading

We are committed to strict compliance with insider trading regulations and other relevant laws and regulations. We have established regulations concerning the purchase and sale of securities, etc., and ensure the prevention of unfair practices based on undisclosed material facts obtained through duties or positions, as well as information obtained in the course of duties.

5. Education and Training

We continue our efforts to deepen the understanding of the Policy through education and training for all officers and employees, and to ensure that the Policy is thoroughly integrated into all of our business activities.

6. Contact for Report

We have established regulations for the whistle-blowing system and have set up internal and external contact points for whistle-blowing. Whistleblowers may report anonymously and shall not be subject to any disadvantageous treatment because of their reporting.
